Terms of Service

Last updated: August 9, 2026

No legal entity has been registered yet. These terms are a statement of intent by the individual operator of this tool. The operator must supply the entity name, address, and jurisdiction before these terms bind anyone. Until then, use of the tool is on an entirely as-is, experimental basis with no legal agreement in effect. No company name, registered address, governing law, or contact email can be provided at this time.

Service description

Hopcheck is a redirect chain inspector. It accepts a URL submitted by a user and follows the HTTP redirect chain for that URL, displaying the results in the user's browser. The service is provided as a public tool with no guaranteed uptime, service level, or support commitment.

Acceptance

By using Hopcheck, you acknowledge that these terms represent the operator's intended conditions of use. If you do not agree, do not use the tool. Because no legal entity is registered, these terms are not yet a binding contract — they are a description of how the service is intended to operate.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

Intellectual property

The Hopcheck name, logo, and interface design are the intellectual property of the operator. No license is granted to use these assets for any purpose other than linking to the service.

Disclaimer

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS", WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND NONINFRINGEMENT. IN NO EVENT SHALL THE OPERATOR BE LIABLE FOR ANY CLAIM, DAMAGES OR OTHER LIABILITY ARISING FROM THE USE OF THE SERVICE.

Limitation of liability

In no event shall the operator be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages arising out of or related to the use of or inability to use the service, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

Billing

No payment processor is connected. Hopcheck is not yet able to accept real payments. The billing terms on this page describe the intended model and will apply when a payment processor is integrated. Until then, Pro features cannot be purchased.

Plans

Hopcheck offers a Free plan and a Pro plan. The Free plan provides full redirect chain inspection at no cost and does not require an account. The Pro plan adds extended features (extended chain limit, saved check history, batch URL checks, API access, and CSV export) for a monthly subscription fee.

Subscription billing

Pro subscriptions are billed monthly in advance. The current monthly price is displayed on the Pricing page. Upon subscribing, the first payment is charged immediately, and subsequent payments are charged on the same calendar day each month. If that day does not exist in a given month, the charge occurs on the last day of that month.

Failed payments

If a payment attempt fails (e.g., card declined, expired, or insufficient funds), Hopcheck retries the charge automatically. The retry schedule is: 3 days, 7 days, and 14 days after the initial failure. If all retries fail, access to Pro features is suspended until the payment succeeds. No data is deleted during a suspension. The subscription is cancelled if payment has not been received within 30 days of the original due date.

Refunds

All charges are non-refundable except in the case of a service error that resulted in an incorrect charge. If Hopcheck charges you in error, a full refund of the incorrect amount will be issued within 14 days of the error being reported. There are no refunds for partial billing periods after cancellation.

Cancellation

Customers may cancel their Pro subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. After cancellation, access to Pro features continues until the end of the paid period, after which the account reverts to Free plan limits. No partial refunds are given for cancellation mid-cycle.

Payment processor

When Hopcheck launches billing, payments will be processed through a third-party payment processor (Stripe or equivalent). Payment card details never reach Hopcheck's servers — they are handled directly by the payment processor. The operator does not store or have access to full card numbers.

Changes to these terms

The operator reserves the right to update these terms at any time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms. Significant changes will be noted on the Hopcheck home page.

Governing law

Governing law and jurisdiction will be specified when the operator registers a legal entity. Until then, no governing law is claimed.

Contact

No contact method is available at this time. A contact channel will be published when the business entity is registered.
